While sending a quick email to a group of colleagues I wanted to add a simple link. e.g. Blogged it here. I think other options might be useful.
Here is a short video explain a UI option within Lotus Notes v8.5.

The toolbar in Notes has the things you are looking for already…its just one big horizontal bar that in the case of your video, is mostly hidden due to the size of your Lotus Notes window. You could;
1. Hide the Widgets toolbar.
2. Edit the “Edit Document” toolbar and remove/re-order some of the extraneous items (eg, save, cut, copy, paste could all go — who doesn't know the keyboard shortcuts for these nowadays?).
3. …perhaps drag the Search toolbar to the next line?

@Colin, how are ya, your thoughts are really appreciated!
I was thinking more about the rich text editor buttons I have for blogging positioned between the text area and the send-to details. I would also like to have dual view of text and HTML. Its because most of the documents I write are in blogs rather than email or document editors.
